Sutton Friends Gardening Initiative
Why garden in your community?
We have started a garden initiative for community while there was a lockdown and every one was stuck in their house. We started growing lots of plants from seed and distributed small plants free of cost to public without physical touch
People grown lots of vegetables at home and shared with each other by putting them outside their home and asking people to collect
It was an great initiative and people took so much interest and initially we 3 people started and gradually it attracted so many people in sutton and now we have family of 500 people who are connected to each other and growing their vegetables, fruits etc
